i think so, but the lyrics and melody won’t be the same in the remix. i need to check out hybrid remix songs to figure it out more clearly.
If neither the lyrics nor the melody are the same, then Sherlock is just a different song entirely. It has to have something the other songs had in order to be a remix, right? You would think it’d take lyrics from both songs and make a new melody for them.

May be the two songs have similar genre and meaning (u can see in the titles), so they can mix it together and make an outstanding song.

I mean, yes, remixing songs I have seen.. but a group that releases 2 new songs in their album, and releases a hybrid-remix of them as their title song? I think not. I’m so excited for this and it makes me wonder if the mv will be more than the usual dancing at different locations, I mean all the teasers and information seem to be pointing to a more complex story than the rest of their albums, which is nice for a change and also makes me anticipate more not only the video and the title song but all the tracks, I can’t wait!

i remember a few months ago or half a year ago (or well some time in 2011) hyunmin said they were learning to compose songs together, i wonder if one of these could’ve made it onto the album!!!

This is what i think of the album being called sherlock. It’s pretty clever what SM is doing if you really think about it.
I think that ”Sherlock” is us shawols/kpop fans because their concept teasers have been pretty confusing to everyone and has not really been linked to sherlock in any way. But i think they made it that way because it’s up to us to figure out the mystery through their songs and we can then identify what is going on. It’s like a modern mystery game interpreted through music.
In other words, this is totally Genius. It’s going to be amazing!!! hehe ^_^
