taemin’s beauty is really something you see from fantasy movies. He shines like the elves in Lord of the Rings… he is not girly from my point of view… did people call legolas girly when he had that long hair? NO!
but I admit he is prettier than most female idols but he is manly at the same time….
i’m glad to see people who share my view. exactly! men in old times had long hair, and they didn’t lose their manliness because of that!

yes beauty is subjective, but using “ugly” is too much unless that person is an anti. well, i’ve seen some antis posting photos of him or shinee members, those photos of their derp faces, u know what i mean, to say shinee are all ugly. yes, there are those kinds of people everywhere.

my mom has now twice asked me if he’s a girl. first time was from one of my sm town paris fancams, and he didn’t have long hair there :/ i think people might mistake his beauty for that when they see him for the first time (2nd time was the sherlock mv, dont think she remembered him from before. i dont keep my apartment full of posters etc and she only knows i love shinee, not who in it

Taemin is an androgynous beauty. He can be unmistakable masculine, deceptively feminine or an genderless fairy w/ little effort his gender ambiguity ends with his looks though. Personality & behavior wise Taemin is undeniably male. That the interesting thing with Taemin, he looks one way (gentle & angelic) but tends to be the complete opposite (aggressive & quite mischievous)
